ANTONIO MALAVE, Co-FOUNDER, PARTNER & CEO

Antonio Malave is an accomplished business leader with over 15 years of experience in the F&B industry. He holds a B.S. in Food Science from the University of Florida and has a passion for the industry, sustainability, and building strong and lasting relationships. He has been recognized for his accomplishments, including being named to ASI’s Top 30 Under 30 and being a two-time nominee for EY Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Under his leadership, True Grade has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Antonio has made a name for himself with his ability to drive the company’s growth and expand its reach globally.

GENE KLIGER, PARTNER & PRESIDENT

A U.S. Army veteran and leader in the industry Gene is highly regarded by the largest, most successful cruise lines in the world as an expert in proteins with a career spanning four decades of procurement, harvesting, production, service, and sales. After starting at Iowa Beef Processing in 1974 as a butcher, Gene worked his way up the ladder to become one of the leading experts in protein procurement in the industry. Since joining True Grade in 2020 Gene has created a strategic advantage for True Grade with his unparalleled F&B industry experience by bringing his extensive knowledge, portfolio, and connections to the company.
