Verified GDST-capable and interoperable platform
GS1/CTE/KDE event-based traceability
ERP-ready integrations and future automation
Who should use this Gateway?
Current and prospective True Grade suppliers beginning their traceability journey — starting with seafood and expanding to eggs, pork, and chicken.
If you already use a GDST-capable system, connect it directly. If not, register through Wholechain or use the packing list option.
Choose how you connect your data
Select the option that best matches your capabilities and systems:
1. Wholechain (direct submission)
Current Wholechain users: confirm your connection to the True Grade network.
New users: sign up and submit directly through Wholechain.
True Grade suppliers receive a free account and 25% off the first year of an upgraded plan.
2. Another GDST-capable system (interoperable)
Share shipment data via your GDST/EPCIS-compliant platform.
3. Online Packing List (per shipment)
Submit shipment-level data through the online form when applicable.
You’ll provide traceability data tied to each shipment, aligned to Key Data Elements (KDEs) and Critical Tracking Events (CTEs) under FSMA 204.
Include Traceability Lot Codes and GS1 label data on cases or pallets (e.g., GTIN and batch/lot).
This ensures verifiable chain-of-custody and faster receiving.
Why suppliers benefit
Market access: meet buyer expectations for digital traceability.
Operational efficiency: standardized data reduces manual entry and errors.
Risk reduction & readiness: prepare for evolving rules and audits.
Customer trust & storytelling: QR codes reveal your product’s verified journey.
